Happy Birthday to Me

Sorry for the belated birthday pics.  It was a quiet one this year with us only being half settled.  Plus it was the middle of the week and I didn't get off of work until 6:30!  But Mike made me a lovely dinner and showered me with gifts.  Yay for 27 :-)

Roadtrip!!

I just got back from a solo roadtrip up to Maryland to pick up Luna.  My parents were graciously watching her while Mike and I got settled in Montgomery.  I had an entire week thanks to spring break for most of Montgomery's schools.  Unfortunately Mike couldn't take off a week of work after just starting this new job.

On my way up I stopped to see my cousin Jenna and her new baby.  Graham is such a cute little burrito and such a good baby.

I buckled the seat belt bc the car kept yelling at me, thinking there was a passenger without their seatbelt on.

Back in the USA

Moving is such a pain!!  I love all of the different places we get to explore courtesy of the Air Force but I really do not enjoying unpacking.

We have found a great house in a historic district of Montgomery.  We are within walking distance to great bars and restaurants and both Mike and I have a less than 10 minute commute to work.  The house is small (2 beds and 2 baths) but it has a great backyard for Luna to play in and for being built in the 1920s its in great condition.  We're renting it right now but once we have a home inspection to confirm its not a money pit we plan on buying.
