Potus' Room

Here are some before and after shots of the baby's room.

This room actually went through quite a few transformations.  It was always a guest room but I have a thing with moving furniture around.  

Unfortunately it seems we are not very good at documenting our renovations.  This is our only pre nursery picture.

This is the room in the middle of our progress.

It originally started out light blue and the bed was in between the two windows.  After much scraping, wood repair, weather stripping, and painting we were ready for the Munshi's to stay here when they came to visit in July.  The bed was against the left wall then to see how much room we would still have for baby stuff.

The we bought a ton of baby supplies.  Moved furniture around.  Added some wall decorations.  And have ended up with this.

 We're going to fill these frames with baby pics of Mike and me and eventually Potus.

Painting takes forever in this old house with all of its cracks, old peeling paint, and miles of trim.  It was worth the effort in the end and I really like how this room has turned out.  I also love that the room is so large it can still be used as a guest room as well.  Feel free to come visit :-)
